In the small and popular neighborhood Patershol you can find the restaurant Valentijn. If you look for an intimate and romantic atmosphere, this is the place to be. Katrien and Youri will welcome you with pleasure in their 17th century refurbished building. The interior is like the name reveals, very romantic, with hearts everywhere. A cosy and intimate atmosphere make of this restaurant one of the best of Ghent.

The kitchen is mainly French – Belgian with a modern touch. Chef Youri insists on bringing new and daily fresh products to his guests. During weekdays you can enjoy an à la carte menu.
On Saturday night it is only possible to try the 4-courses menu of +/- 50€ which includes, appetizers, first course, small soup, main course , dessert, wine and coffee or tea. Also on special days or holidays they only offer the menu. The portions are everything but small and their wines are selected very carefully so that they match your dish perfectly. Prices for the à la carte menu vary between 20€ and 30€ per dish. When asking your bill don’t be surprised, it will come in a small box which has the shape of a heart. What else did you expect?
